Francesco Villa

He was born in Rome in 1972 and currently lives in Milan. Director, videomaker and photographer. He did several short movies that were awarded in Italian and international festivals. In 2002 he founded the Cultural Association Logo Video, composed by videomakers of both moving and still images, with which he realized documentaries, short movies, commercials, corporate videos, support for theatre shows, photography exhibits. In 2007 he founded the Linea Gialla Onlus (Yellow Line Non-pro t), the rst non profit run directly by homeless people, with which he made the documentary titled «Yellow line». Since 2007 he has worked at Acme (Accademia di Belle Arti Europea dei Media) as a teacher of Direction, Editing, Photographic tecnique. In 2008/09 he was in charge of the video workshop at IFG, «Carlo De Martino» (Institute for Training in Journalism). In 2014 he founded Milano.Lab, a cultural association dedicated to the cultural relations between Italy and Russia.
